While I was reading chapter 986, I found the panel below to be extremely beautiful because of the meaning behind it.
First, Kin’emon and Denjiro are the two original vassals of Oden. That in itself is extremely meaningful.
They enter the battlefield with the other Scabbards lined up. Interestingly, the Scabbards on Kin’emon’s side are the ones that were with him during his journey with the Straw Hats going to Wano.
The Scabbards on Denjiro’s side were the ones that stayed in Wano to strengthen their forces. This includes Kiku who was transported to the future but stayed behind instead of going with Kin’emon. Izo is an exception since he doesn’t really fit both descriptions.
This panel represents the two-pronged approach the Scabbards took in order to get revenge for their master.
One group leaves and gets allies, the other group stays and strengthens their forces in Wano. Two approaches, one goal.
