Jewelry Bonney’s Devil Fruit Power is Terrifying!
Jewelry Bonney ate the Toshi Toshi no Mi, Paramecia-type Devil Fruit that allows her to freely manipulate the aging process of anything, including herself, other people, and objects. Although the effects are only temporary on living things.
Another benefit is that she can cripple opponents by rapidly aging them into their feeble senior years or by regressing them into small, weak children.
Another application of this power is by ‘shooting’ at an opponent, she can induce a Near Death Experience (NDE), causing them to briefly adopt the appearance of a skeleton before their flesh returns. This ability seems to make an opponent actually experience a pseudo-death, as the marine it was first used on commented that he saw the sanzu river as he had an extreme mental breakdown.
Bonney is also able to tap into alternate futures with her forward-aging techniques, in case said futures provide a physical boost to her normal abilities. Thanks to her own vivid imagination and the legends her father used to tell her, Bonney can somehow mimic even the powers of Nika, a holy figure, by shapeshifting herself into a future form that is capable of inflating her arms and using them for attacks, akin to the effects of Luffy’s Gear 3.
Bonney carries out her transformation into Nika based solely on the little knowledge of Nika given to her by Kuma, which seems to suggest that her powers, much like those of Luffy‘s devil fruit, may be limited solely by her imagination and what she deems a possible alternative future. Bonney’s Distorted Future technique also appears to allow her to adopt the physical traits of the being she turns into, which arguably surpasses the abilities of the Nika devil fruit.
Bonney factually converts imagination into reality, simply by wishing for it to happen. She could even turn into a dragon Kaido or a giant like Oars. Her power is terrifying!
