I really liked the juxtaposition between Kaido and Yamato in chapter 944 where they’re literally on the opposite side of the spectrum when it comes to death.

Kaido appreciates the way Oden died and wishes to die a grand death for himself.

Yamato appreciates the way Oden lived and wishes to die for the sake of people guarding Oden’ legacy. Such a poignant point.

Also, the way Oda portrays them in similar fashion, with smoke around them and the grand declaration of their will, and the difference between how they wield their respective clubs.

Kaido slinging it on his shoulder with arrogance and Yamato holding it in a knightly manner is also a good juxtaposition in action.
