Oda explained how he draws females!
Eiichiro Oda, the creator of the popular manga and anime series “One Piece” is known for his distinctive art style, and this extends to how he draws female characters in the series. Oda’s approach to character design, including female characters, is characterized by a combination of exaggerated features, unique designs, and a sense of whimsy.
Oda’s female characters are often depicted with exaggerated features, such as large eyes, high-rise breasts, and severe hourglass waist. Oda’s female characters are either hyper-feminine or outlandishly bizarre, with barely any in-between. The characters’ personalities correlate with the design: “Beautiful” characters are usually damsels in distress or burgeoning heroines, whereas “Bizarre” characters are usually unscrupulous villains or comic relief.
