Several months ago I suggested how X Drake’s Jolly Roger was a hint of him not actually being a pirate but a member of SWORD.

Drake’s Jolly Roger is in fact the only non-skull and bones mark of the Worst Generation (and most One Piece Pirate Crews) and also being made up of three swords was most likely a hint of Drake’s true allegiance to the Marine Headquarters Secret Special Force SWORD.

Recently I saw a post on Twitter comparing the covers of Volume 51 and 97 and noticed something.

On the cover of Volume 51, everyone is looking directly at the reader(or in the case of Apoo, Killer, Capone and Bonney, they’re looking forwards at a slight angle), with the exception of X Drake.

Again this was Oda dropping us a hint of Drake’s true allegiances from as far back as Sabaody, what a genius!
