Nika was a legendary, possibly mythical warrior that was once revered as the Sun God by slaves from ancient times. He was first mentioned by Who’s-Who, who heard about the legend from a prison guard during his imprisonment.
The silhouette of Sun God Nika looks eerily similar to the silhouette of Luffy dancing in Skypiea Arc. There are two such chapters. One would be Chapter 253 where Luffy, Usopp and the wolves were dancing around the campire with Robin looking at them while sitting on a rock.
The other woud be Chapter 300 where Luffy and the Straw Hats are partying with the Shandorians and the Skypieans around a huge bonfire after Enel is defeated.
Luffy represents the Sun God in a way where he is able to free people of an entire country in true sense from an oppressive ruler. It’s amazing how the entirety of Skypiea arc has such strong ties to almost every other arc in the series be it in terms of theme or overall lore of One Piece.
From Chapter 287. This is referring to the Giant Snake but his name may be a reference to Nika.
The weapon of Nika looks like the top of Noland’s head while his clothings look a lot like Shandians’ wear.
We also know that the weapons of Nika (sword and spear) are the same weapons that Noland (sword) and Kalgara (spear) use.
