One Piece Film: Red is the upcoming 15th One Piece movie, set to be released on August 6, 2022. Eiichiro Oda will serve as a general producer and supervisor for the film.
As revealed by the first teaser trailer, the plot will involve Shanks, whose signature scar can be seen on the “D” in the film’s title logo. Additionally, a new female character will appear in the film named Uta, which Oda noted to be a departure from the older male characters that starred as the villains in four of the last five films. The teaser poster depicts her, who seems to be a sky island resident.
The second trailer reveals that Uta is a world-famous diva and daughter of Red-Haired Shanks.
We learn that Uta and Shanks were very close, and she became depressed when he left her.
For unknown reasons, Uta wants Luffy to quit being a pirate.
