Saint Jaygarcia Saturn possesses a “unique” Conqueror’s Haki
We theorised so far that Saturn probably has a devil fruit given his appearance and many fans have connected his design to the Japanese yokai Ushi Oni. This was further evidenced by his cloud cloak that we see in other awakened Zoan users.
The abilities he had shown so far were:
- 1-Teleporting via a magic circle (with 5s written on it presumably to represent Gorosei?);
- 2-Popping a soldier’s head;
- 3-Recovering immediately from blood loss;
I’d like to talk about (4). This ability so far appears to be some form of invisible force that can either knock back his opponents or shield himself. It reminds me of coated Conqueror’s Haki.
We see black lightning drawn everywhere (even commented by fodder soldiers) since his teleportation. Vegapunk specifically said “if it’s not technology then it must be a devil fruit ability” which I believe is a red herring by Goda. You would’ve noticed that Saturn’s eyes flashed he uses his ability which makes me think it’s related.
This may be another form, or rather antagonising Conqueror’s Haki in a sense. As most have already theorized with his devil fruit being born out of nightmares rather than dreams, there could be a counterpart for Conquerors’ Haki as well.
