Shiryu’s Awakening vs Zoro’s Ability to Cut Nothing!

Shiryu of the Rain who has been confirmed to be the right hand man of Blackbeard, has eaten the Suke Suke no Mi, after killing Absalom.

The Suke Suke no Mi is a Paramecia-type Devil Fruit that gives its user the ability to turn themselves and whatever they touch (living or nonliving) invisible, making them a Clear Human.

Now Shiryu being the right hand man of Blackbeard automatically confirms that his opponent is Zoro, when the eventual battle between the Blackbeard Pirates and the Straw Hat Pirates happens.

Now here’s the thing. Just the Suke Suke no Mi’s normal ability alone is not enough to compete with Zoro, who by that time will be as strong as, if not stronger, than a 1st Commander. As we know Observation Haki can be used to counter this ability. And Zoro’s Observation Haki is pretty good. The only way this ability would actually be useful in battle, is if Shiryu had a strong Awakening.

I believe Shiryu’s Awakening is something extremely broken.

He is going to become nothing.

Like, nothingness. Instead of being visually invisible, the dude won’t exist. You punch him as soon as he goes invisible, the attack won’t land. Like that dude went into a different dimension like Tobi in Naruto. You just cannot hit him.

See how the yellow haired guy (Minato) is phasing through the masked lad (Tobi), and is unable to hit him? Same with Shiryu. Only Shiryu will also be invisible.

But how will Zoro cut a guy who can’t be touched?

Zoro faced a similar situation against Daz Bones. Being unable to cut him. Zoro then has a flashback to Koushiro, who had taught him there are swordsmen who have the ability to cut nothing.

Zoro will harness that ability, and cut through the nothingness that is Daz Bones.
