Something about Wang Zhi that doesn’t add up
In Thriller Bark we saw a zombie who many have speculated to be Wang Zhi from Rocks Pirates.
In Chapter 1096, Oda indirectly and silently confirms this by including a member from Rocks Pirates crew who looks EXACTLY just like that zombie: same helmet, same beard, etc…
A reminder that this Zombie was seen 2 years ago in Thriller Bark, meaning that this corpse has been dead for years prior, and Moria + Hogback revived it with their devil fruit/skills.
Now here’s the issue: if this was Wang Zhi, then how was he still alive when Blackbeard took over Hachinosu 1 year ago during the Rocky Port Incident?
This doesn’t add up… either that zombie wasn’t Wang Zhi then like we all thought or he was and this is a flat out retcon/plot hole on Oda’s part… did he forget?
