With the ending of chapter 931, we see Big Mom washed ashore and now suffers from amnesia. Now this caused many to be upset but there may be another possibility to consider here…
That’s not Big Mom.
Why do I think that? It’s because she has a heart tattoo on both her arms. The real Big Mom only has one heart tattoo on her left arm. It could be a mistake on Oda’s part but that fact that we see it in two panels makes me think otherwise.
I reread Whole Cake Island chapters to make sure and, on every single panel with her, Oda is pretty consistent about showing that tattoo on her left arm even from different angles.

As you can see, Oda has been pretty consistent with the tattoo but he messes up in 931 of all chapters?
