At the end of chapter 987 we see the Mink Tribe forces joining the Scabbards, and they along with Inuarashi and Nekomamushi begin activating their Sulong forms!

They probably won’t defeat him, but I bet they will put up a pretty good fight, and at least weaken him enough for someone else to give the final blow.
