After Wano, you may notice the weaker half of the Straw Hats (sans Chopper) got a standard 300,000,000 berries upgrade, while the people who 1v1’d Kaido’s Commanders got a much bigger upgrade.
This is similar to how, after Dressrosa, to paraphrase Bartolomeo, the Straw Hats who proved how dangerous they were got big upgrades, while everyone else, even those who weren’t in Dressrosa, got a standard 50,000,000 berries upgrade.
Yet there is one notable outlier for both: Franky. Franky defeated one of Doflamingo’s Commanders and yet got only a 50,000,000 berries bounty increase. The same he would’ve gotten if he hadn’t even been in Dressrosa. Robin got the standard upgrade too, but she didn’t have a fight.
Then in Wano, Franky defeated a Tobiroppo, just like Robin and Jinbe, and yet got the standard upgrade yet again. I guess you could say Nami defeated one too, but not 1v1.
Yes, I know bounties aren’t that serious and don’t necessarily reflet their fights but still, I feel like Franky doesn’t get his due. Back in Episode 1000 when they did the montages of each members best moments, they all got 3 or more, while Franky only got his intro and the Senor Pink fight. He’s also consistently ranked the least popular Straw Hat. All this to say that I hope Franky gets a big focus soon or at least some flashy and unmissable cool moments in the next arc.
Of course Chopper doesn’t count since him getting boutines lower than he deserves is intentional.
