Devil Fruits are mystical fruits found throughout the world that, when consumed, provide the eater a special ability, depending on the type and variation of the Fruit itself.

Devil Fruits are the origins of the powers of some of the strongest people in the current generation of One Piece World, including Rookie Pirate Crews, Marine Admirals, Shichibukai, and at least two Yonko(Marshall D. Teach and Charlotte Linlin). All Devil Fruit are categorized into three types/classes: Paramecia, Zoan and Logia.

Certain Devil Fruits are noted to be “unique” or “special”, even for their respective classes.

Let’s have a look at them:

#Goro Goro no Mi, which was mentioned by Nico Robin to be one of the devil fruits with the reputation of being “invincible”. It allows the user to create, control, and transform into electricity at will, making the user a Lightning Human.

#Yami Yami no Mi, which has been claimed to be “unique”, even for a Logia. It allows the user to create and control darkness at will, making the user a Darkness Human. This fruit is considered “unique” even for a Logia-type, and the ability it grants is said to be the “most evil”.

#Gura Gura no Mi, which has been called the strongest Paramecia, equal to a Logia. It allows the user to create vibrations, or “quakes”, making the user a Tremor Human. This fruit is fearsomely reputed to be able to destroy the world, and is considered to be the strongest Devil Fruit within the Paramecia class, having powers no weaker than those of a Logia Devil Fruit.

#Ope Ope no Mi, which has been called the “Ultimate Devil Fruit”. Infact it has the unique power to grant another person eternal youth in exchange for the current user’s life. The fruit is also renowned and coveted for allowing the user to perform miraculous surgeries as well as to cure diseases without any known cures and even circumvent physical disabilities.

#Mochi Mochi no Mi, which has been identified as a “special” Paramecia by Jinbe. It allows the user to create, control, and transform into mochi.
As a “special” Paramecia, the user can actually change their body into mochi, akin to a Logia. The user can manipulate the shape of their bodies accordingly to avoid being hit by attacks.

#Tama Tama no Mi, which is the only canon named Devil Fruit to not be currently categorized as one of the three types, as it has features from Paramecia, Zoan and Logia. The greatest strength the fruit gives is the ability to regenerate from severe injuries that would normally kill a person by evolving from an egg to a chicken. The new forms the user gains also drastically increase their fighting ability, to the point where the second transformation makes the user a “true knight”. Should their strongest form be destroyed, the user will revert back to their weakest base form. This endless cycle effectively prevents the user from dying in battle as long as they are not killed in the midst of an evolution.

#Tori Tori no Mi, Model: Phoenix which is an immensely powerful type of Zoan Devil Fruit, said to be the rarest type, even rarer than Logia fruits.
While this fruit’s power is classified as a Zoan, due to the uniqueness of the phoenix, the additional powers it grants may be considered similar to those of Paramecia (the somewhat “superhuman” power that affects the user’s body: regeneration) and Logia (the generation of blue phoenix flames).
