- Cyprus occupies an important role in Greek mythology being the birthplace of Aphrodite. But Cyprus is also assosiated with cats.
- A paper by J.-D. Vigne, et al., concluded in 2004 that the discovery of Near Eastern wildcat (Felis silvestris lybica) remains in a 9,500-year-old grave in Cyprus is the oldest example to date of a cat in close association with humans.
- More cat lives in Cyprus than human. Cyprus’ cat population is now a staggering 1.5 million.
- There’s a cat breed called the Aphrodite Giant that came from Cyprus, an island sacred Aphrodite.
Nami’s epithet is Cat burglar and her animal counterpart is a white cat in chapter 651 color page.
7. Aphrodite was also the patron goddess of prostitutes.

So what we know about Aphrodite’s mythology? She was the daughter of Uranus.
- Uranus,sometimes written Ouranos ( ‘sky’ or ‘heaven’,), was the primal Greek god personifying the sky and one of the Greek primordial deities.
- Cronus severed Uranus’ genitals and threw them behind him into the sea.The foam from his genitals gave rise to Aphrodite.
- Aphrodite is born off the coast of Cythera from the foam (αφρός aphrós) produced by Uranus’s genitals, which his son Cronus has severed and thrown into the sea.
But How the sorcery clima tact can be Uranus? Do you remember when Nami asked Usopp to modify the clima tact into something like a magic wand. And Nami was called so many times a witch….

Summary; Nami can be the representation of goddess Aphrodite who was born from the cutted phallos of Uranus. The sorcery clima tact is just the representation of Uranus’ power over the sky, as his phallos was cutted, and he lost his power.
Maybe Uranus can be built into the clima tact in the future, as dial powers and weatheria’s technology were built into it. And this is how the clima tact as a magic wand become an Ancient Weapon. I don’t throw away this idea.
